Employee Background Roulette

This article from ACFE Fraud magzine accurately summarizes the risks involved in not doing professional background check done for corporate as well for government/regulatory sector. This remind me of a comment made by one of the sales professional when a case of anti fraud staff involved in fraud was found. He aptly said "who will guard the guards", I think background checks are relevant for all the industries across all the sectors including for profit and not for profit businesses.

Background check is very important activity irrespective of the job role, more so for people who are in sensitive jobs. Most senior/more critical the job role is more important background screening is
